Our talented team

Our players are not just talented on the football pitch! Here are what a couple of our players have been up to away from football.

Para triathlete Ethan

Ethan is part of our under 15’s team and alongside being a great footballer, he is also a talented athlete. He recently completed in the para-triathlon, at the National Schools Games in Loughborough. He won silver in the boy’s individual event and bronze in the team event.

 

Ethan is a key member of our defence and was part of our squad which went to Scotland and Dublin, over the summer.

Competition winner Lily

One of our new players is also a budding artist. Lily loves to paint landscapes using various objects in the house like cotton buds, scouring pads etc.

This picture is called Blue Mountain which Lily painted with acrylics using sponges and a palette knife. She entered the painting into the unique art awards for children with disabilities. It is sponsored by the foot and mouth painters association.

She was a national finalist and won the silver award plus some vouchers and is very pleased as you can see from the photo of her getting her award.
