Welfare

Sue Young is the Club Welfare Officer for both our junior and senior football club.

She has worked alongside parents and players since we formed in 2019 and has welcomed many new team members and parents along the way.

Our CWO is the first point of contact for all club members and parents or guardians regarding concerns for the welfare of any child or young person. They will liaise directly with the Somerset FA’s Child Protection Officer (CPO) and will be familiar with the procedures for referring any concerns. They will also play a proactive role in increasing an awareness of poor practice and abuse amongst club members.

The club also has two parents with FA Advanced First Aid Training.
