Bristol City CP Academy

Developing players. Building confidence. Creating opportunities.

The Bristol City CP Academy is for players aged 12–16 who want to develop their football, challenge themselves and enjoy being part of a team that shares their passion for the game.

As players move through their teenage years, the Academy provides an opportunity to build on their skills, improve their understanding of football and develop the confidence to take on new challenges. Through training, teamwork and match experiences, players are encouraged to work hard, support their teammates and keep pushing themselves to improve.

Developing on and off the pitch

At Bristol City CP, we believe every player should have the opportunity to develop their potential. The Academy focuses on building football skills, improving decision-making, developing communication and understanding the importance of teamwork.

Just as importantly, players learn to work together, show respect, build resilience and celebrate each other’s achievements. Whether mastering a new skill, contributing to a team performance or overcoming a challenge, every step forward matters.

More than football

The Academy is about more than developing as a player. It is about friendship, belonging and being part of a club where teammates understand and support one another.

Players have the opportunity to share experiences, learn from each other and build lasting friendships in a positive environment where everyone is encouraged to get involved and be the best they can be.

As part of the wider Bristol City CP family, the Academy also plays an important role in the club’s player pathway, helping young footballers continue their journey towards senior football.

The next step in the journey

The Academy years are an exciting time to learn, grow and discover what is possible. We want our players to enjoy their football, take pride in representing Bristol City CP and have the confidence to keep aiming higher.

Develop your skills. Back your teammates. Believe in your potential.

Together, we’re building the next generation of Bristol City CP footballers.
