What a weekend!

The 2026 Bristol City Cerebral Palsy Football Festival was about so much more than football. It was three days of sport, friendship, laughter and creating memories that will stay with the players and their families for a long time.
Young players with cerebral palsy came together from across the UK and Europe to enjoy the game, compete against each other and, perhaps most importantly, meet other young people who understand some of the challenges they face.

There was a real sense of belonging throughout the festival. For many of the players, being surrounded by others who share their experiences made the weekend particularly special. On the pitch there was plenty of determination and competitive spirit, but off the pitch there were new friendships, plenty of smiles and families coming together to support their children.

Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC has created something really special. The club gives young people the opportunity to play football, develop their skills and confidence, and simply enjoy being part of a team.

The 2026 festival was a wonderful celebration of that inclusive spirit — showing just how much can be achieved when everyone is given the opportunity to take part.

For the players, families, coaches and volunteers involved, it was a weekend to remember. ❤️⚽
