Passing forwards and backwards to retain possession and some great goals.
Apparently Emily was a bit nervous as it was her 1st match as captain, but I think the 4 goals she put away settled her down!!!
It was really nice to have subs for a change as we normally compete with minimal numbers.
Every player got game time and our newest recruit George (CDM) delivered the most amazing assist into the box.
A couple of times we allowed our communication to falter and allow them to run through our defence and score, but we stayed solid in the second half.
Man of the match was awarded to the opposition for an outstanding performance from one of their players.
A lot of today was captured on camera and posted by Annie – May Jones, so thankyou Annie. We will discuss the boss shot when you help with training next!!!

Players Player award went to Jesse Aldridge (GK) voted by the players so really well done Jesse, your personality won this award along with your constant encouragement from the back.
Coaches player of the season (Fair play award) Jake Shopland (LW) for his kindness to others and a true respect and understanding of fair play on the pitch.Sam secured some very nice jackets for the BCCP team and Joe presented each player with a framed team photo.
Ethan & Callum were unable to make the day due to both recovering at home but they both have items to collect when we see them both fighting fit in the future.
Club updates:
A round of applause went to Alistair Fenton for running 28 miles and raising an incredible sum of money for the team. From players and parents we are all so grateful. THANKYOU
I have had an amazing time working alongside Joe Bryant this season, I feel he has founded us something solid for the future of CP football and I am sure next season will be just as rewarding.
