Where the football journey begins

The Bristol City CP Comets are our youngest players, giving children aged 5–11 the opportunity to discover the joy of football in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.

Launched in 2025, the Comets are the newest addition to the Bristol City CP family and provide a fantastic starting point for children who want to get involved in football, whether they are completely new to the game or already love kicking a ball around.

Sessions are all about having fun, building confidence and developing football skills. Players are encouraged to get involved, try new things and enjoy being part of a team, while developing their ball control, passing, movement and understanding of the game.

Making friends and having fun

For our youngest players, football is about much more than what happens on the pitch. The Comets are a chance to make friends, build confidence and discover the excitement of being part of a football club.

Every player is encouraged to develop at their own pace, with coaches creating an environment where everyone can get involved and enjoy themselves.

The Comets are also the beginning of the Bristol City CP player pathway. As our young players grow and develop, they have the opportunity to progress through the club and continue their football journey alongside players who understand and share their experiences.

The next generation

The Comets may be the youngest team at Bristol City CP, but they are an important part of the club’s future.

We’re excited to watch them learn, grow, make friends and, most importantly, fall in love with football.

Big dreams start with little kicks.

Play. Learn. Grow. Have fun.
